Fees

In-person registration for the Tailings and Mine Waste 2025 is now closed.

Due to the high demand, we have opened a virtual attendee option. Please email us with any questions.

Registration Fees:

Attendee – General (after Sep 16) $1650.00 SOLD OUT (Available only to those on the waitlist as space becomes available)

Attendee – Virtual $1450.00

Attendee – Virtual Student $ 575.00

*These rates do not include 5% GST.

Short Courses

Short course descriptions can be found here.

Please be aware that the general attendee ticket does not include registration for the short courses. Separate registration and fees are required to attend any of the short courses. Please note that courses may be cancelled if there are insufficient registrations. Based on availability, a full refund or transfer to another short course can be offered.

You may purchase a short course ticket without purchasing a general attendee ticket, in which case you do not have access to the general conference. Please contact us to make arrangements for registration.

Do you require a Visa Invitation Letter?

Please email us at uageoctr@ualberta.ca with your full name, passport number, and home address, and a letter will be issued to you within 1-2 weeks. Please note: letters will be issued to fully paid attendees only.
