Time Zone
Alberta returns to Mountain Standard Time (MST) on November 2, 2025, the first day of the conference. This is one hour ahead of of Pacific Standard Time, two hours behind Eastern Standard Time (EST), and six hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Currency
The currency in Banff is the Canadian dollar ($ or CAD). It is recommended that all visitors use Canadian currency when traveling within Canada.
