The Tailings and Mine Waste (TMW) Conference series began in 1978 and is now one of the most respected and established mining conferences in the world. This Conference is hosted through the Colorado State University in conjunction with the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta on alternating years.

In November 2023, the Conference will once again invite students, professionals and practitioners in mine waste, from all over the world, to participate and discuss current and future implications for the mining and environmental communities.

The attendees for the TMW23 Conference will include mine waste and tailings management and reclamation engineers, geotechnical engineers, company executives, regulators, students and researchers. Global experts in the field will once again convene for this unmatched forum in Vancouver, B.C.

Chaired by Dr. Caius Priscu, the Program for this conference will include keynote speakers, short courses, networking events and technical presentations on R&D in technologies, and environmental issues related to tailings and mine waste. This forum will also include exhibits by vendors and consultants.

We welcome technical experts, sponsors and exhibitors from across the globe to attend and participate in the conference at the J.W. Marriot Parq Hotel in the heart of beautiful Vancouver, B.C, Canada: November 5-8, 2023.
