Terms and Conditions
Payment: All prices are in US dollars ($ US) and are subject to applicable fees and taxes. If you have any questions related to registration, please email the Tailings and Mine Waste event team via info@tailingsandminewaste.ca.
Tax Exempt: If you are tax exempt, please send tax exemption certificate and tax number to info@tailingsandminewaste.com so that we can confirm your eligibility for exemption.
Refund Policy: Prior to and including September 15, 2026, any cancellation will be charged a $50 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancelled registrations after September 15, 2026. Substitutions will be allowed. Any stop-payments will be subject to a $100 processing fee.
Photography Policy: As a registered participant of Tailings and Mine Waste 2026, you agree that the Conference or authorized third parties may photograph or record your, image, name, voice, and/ or words, and may publish or distribute your image, name, voice, and/ or words for promotional and educational purposes in various forms of media, including but not limited to Tailing and Mine Waste website, and marketing materials.
Statement of Liability Waiver: You agree that Tailings and Mine Waste, the “Conference”), Colorado State University (CSU) and its officers, directors, agents, employees, volunteers, affiliates, successors, assigns, and subsidiaries will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort that you may incur as a result of your participation in the Conference. CSU reserves the right to cancel this Conference without penalty other than a refund of registration fees paid to CSU for services not provided. CSU further reserves the right to reschedule the Conference, refuse admission, or change speakers, location, format (from hybrid to fully virtual), or content without penalty or the refund of registration fees paid. Each attendee shall be personally responsible for his/her behaviour. The organizers will accept no responsibility for the behavior of any attendee or outside entity during the conference.
